The Jones brothers' Preci-Spark Ascari emerged as the most consistent qualifier at Knockhill today, David Jones snatching pole position for this afternoon's seventh round of the Avon Tyres British GT Championship and Godfrey Jones taking second on the grid for tomorrow's round eight.
Matt Griffin will start tomorrow's race from the pole after an impressive sub-51s lap in the MTECH Ferrari 430 Scuderia.
GT4 points leader Jody Firth was the quickest class qualifier in the second session in his Team WFR Ginetta. Stark Racing's Ian Stinton pipped Firth to the class pole in session one.
