> 22 cars now confirmed for round three
Century Motorsport’s second BMW M4 will return to the Intelligent Money British GT Championship this weekend at Brands Hatch where full-season drivers Ben Hurst and Andrew Gordon-Colebrooke are both joined by new team-mates.
The re-jig sees Gordon-Colebrooke partnering series returnee Ben Green, who finished runner-up with Century and BMW in 2018 before graduating to the team’s GT3 programme last year.
Hurst, meanwhile, is joined by Adam Hatfield who last contested a British GT4 round with Team HARD in 2017. He finished fourth in last year’s Porsche Carrera Cup GB Pro/Am standings and is now set to complete this season with Century.
Century’s new-look full-season entry has no bearing on Luke Sedzikowski and Dave Whitmore whose Tegiwa-backed M4 is also run by the team. The Am/Am duo will make the second of their two planned appearances at Donington Park next month.
“An opportunity arose to add a second car, which both drivers are happy to do,” said team principal Nathan Freke. “Adam [Hatfield] has come onboard full-time while Ben [Green] is a proven operator in the M4. He’ll be with us at Brands while we finalise Andrew’s new co-driver for the remaining three rounds.”
Fans can reserve their tickets for this weekend’s two-hour enduro at brandshatch.co.uk until 16:00 BST this Friday. The race is also live on British GT’s website and social media platforms, as well as SRO’s Youtube and Twitch accounts, from 13:00 on Sunday. Build-up begins at 12:30.
