Team ABBA with Rollcentre Racing

BMW Z4 GT3

It might be a new name to British GT fans but Team Abba is actually run by championship mainstay Rollcentre Racing whose owner, Martin Short, returns to the championship as a driver for the first time since 2010.

He's joined in the all-Am crew by series debutant Richard Neary aboard an ex-Barwell Motorsport BMW Z4 GT3.

Rollcentre’s British GT history can be traced back to 2000 when Short’s exploits aboard a lime green TVR Cerbera paved the way for the Blackpool marque’s Le Mans programme. He came close to winning the title two years later with a Tuscan R before Rollcentre’s Tom Herridge finally clinched the crown in 2003 after switching to a Mosler MT900R.

It will be the first time since Silverstone 2011, when the team entered a Ginetta G55 GT3 for Tom Sharp and future BTCC champion Andrew Jordan, that Rollcentre’s name will have featured on the British GT grid.
