Originally founded in the late 1980s, AmDTuning.com is a highly respected and long-standing tuning company that operates from headquarters in West Thurrock, Essex. 

Although primarily known for its work with vehicles from the Volkswagen Audi Group, AmDTuning.com are also specialists in performance tuning and upgrades for all European vehicles, using leading performance products from some of the major companies in the tuning world.

Since the early 1990s, AmDTuning.com has been involved in motorsport, competing in the likes of the VW Racing Cup and the Dunlop Sportmaxx Cup to great success before embarking on its biggest challenge to date in 2010.

Acquiring a Super 2000-spec Volkswagen Golf from Eastern Europe, the team set about developing the car to compete in the British Touring Car Championship; fielding the car for four seasons for drivers including current sportscar star Tom Onslow-Cole.

Embracing the BTCC’s ‘Next Generation Touring Car’ regulations in the 2014, the team secured the Jack Sears Trophy - awarded for making up the most positions during the season  - and secured a first overall podium finish in the series.

The team made its British GT Championship debut in 2015 with a Porsche 911 in the GT4 category. This season it steps up to the GT3 class after taking over the running of Triple Eight Racing's BMW Z4 GT3s.
