Century Motorsport returns to the British GT3 ranks with BMW this year after confirming that Jonathon Beeson and Charles Clark will share its Silver-Am entry.
Century, which is also contesting the GT4 class, won a GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup title with the M4 GT3 Evo last season – two years after it claimed the British GT title with the same manufacturer, Darren Leung and Dan Harper.
2023 was also an impressive season for Clark who established himself as arguably British GT4’s fastest driver. Only bad luck over the final few races prevented him from winning the overall championship with Optimum, although Clark and Jack Brown did at least claim the Silver class title.
He then graduated to GT3 competition in GT World Challenge Europe, first with Aston Martin and then as part of Paradine’s BMW entry last year. That existing experience should now pay dividends domestically while helping his co-driver Beeson get to grips with the M4.
“It’s a dream to be back on the British GT grid this year with Century Motorsport in the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, sharing the car with Jonathon Beeson in Silver-Am,” he said. “Jonathon’s seriously quick, and I’m looking forward to pushing for a successful season together. Huge thanks to Jonathon, Nathan [Freke, team owner] and everyone at Century for the opportunity.
“British GT is one of the toughest championships out there, racing at some of the best tracks in the world against top-level drivers. I can’t wait to get started at Media Day on March 31.”
Beeson makes his GT3 debut fresh from winning Porsche Carrera GB’s Am title. His career began with British Endurance Championship outings in 2022 before progressing through the Porsche GB ranks via TCR UK appearances.
“I’m really happy to be joining Century Motorsport in British GT this year and stepping up into GT3,” he said. “After winning the Porsche Carrera Cup Am championship last season, it feels like a natural step and a great opportunity to keep building my confidence and experience. Nathan has put together a fantastic package for me, and having Charles alongside me is a big advantage, he’s a proven winner with a lot of experience.
"We’re really looking forward to getting started and working hard together.”
Century’s duo become the sixth Silver-Am pairing to be announced, while Clark is the fifth driver eligible to win a fully funded seat at the 2027 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa via British GT’s SRO GT Academy initiative.
The provisional 2026 entry list will be revealed at the joint British GT / Ginetta media day tomorrow before the season begins at Silverstone on April 25-26.
